Criminal Trial Preparation Specialist/Publicist/Writer
Roxanne assists in preparing cases for trials and hearings by interviewing witnesses and investigating all aspects of the case including thousands of pages and hundreds of hours of video in the Twin Peaks cases in Waco from May 17, 2015 when 177 people were arrested for "Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity." Roxanne wrote outlines for the Discovery in the Waco cases to enable over 100 attorneys representing clients to easily maneuver through the massive documents distributed by the McLennan County District Attorney's office.
Roxanne enjoys photographing people and events and is proficient with photo editing tools and enjoys interviewing clients for social media. Vitally important to businesses is reputation management. Roxanne monitors and updates internet directories and assures clients achieve the highest ranking/rating possible.
As a creative and technical writer and editor, Roxanne is also a graphic design artist and creates professional advertising layouts to provide camera-ready art to print media. She writes ad copy for television and radio as well as writes for magazines and newspapers and graphically designs email newsletters and e-books.
Roxanne has volunteered on many philanthropic boards and served in official capacities to raise money for charitable causes. As President of Mountain Metro American Business Clubs (AMBUCS), Roxanne took the club from the rating of "worst to first" when she took over the leadership and brought the club from their 250th ranking in the nation all the way to #1 in a one-year period. She then became the first female District Governor of the Southwest Chapter and took her district to #1 in the nation. AMBUCS is dedicated to the physical therapy of children, and most recently adults, many with limitations developed at birth. The organization builds custom Am-Trykes and supports the work of physical therapists. She is a Life Member of AMBUCS.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication with a degree in professional writing, Roxanne is a life member of the University of Oklahoma Alumni Association. She has many years of experience in marketing, public relations, management and brand development and has hundreds of hours of post-college classes, seminars and continuing education.
Roxanne has been a Production Assistant and an extra in several movies and enjoys attending University of Oklahoma football and basketball games. She also loves Thunder basketball, gardening, reading, researching and writing. As a film fanatic; especially independent film from up-and-coming writers, producers and directors, Roxanne has been a Production Assistant and Production Manager on two Oklahoma City 48-Hour Film Production teams. She is also a live theater patron and stage performer.
